Most precious metals companies charge commissions on both sides of every transaction. Many also push collectible coins with steep markups that can exceed 200% over the underlying value of the metal. We took a different path. KEPM deals exclusively in investment-grade bullion at a flat, published rate, so you know what you pay before you pick up the phone.
Bullion bars and rounds carry the lowest premiums in the precious metals market. By avoiding collectible coins entirely, we put more real metal in your hands for every dollar you spend.
When it is time to liquidate, KEPM does not charge a commission. We help facilitate the sale of your metals through our trusted partners at the current market bid price, with no additional fees from KEPM. This is not a limited-time offer. It is simply how we operate.

Many dealers make their money on markups you do not see. They often push collectible, semi-rare, or “numismatic” coins that carry premiums far above the underlying value of the metal. In some cases, those markups can exceed 200% over the value of the metal itself. When it comes time to sell, the price is typically based on the metal’s current market value, not the premium that was originally paid. The difference becomes the dealer’s profit, and that reality is rarely explained upfront.
KEPM deals exclusively in investment-grade bullion. Bars and rounds. No rare coins, no semi-rare coins, no commemorative sets. Bullion is priced close to the actual spot price of the metal, which means you get more real gold or silver for every dollar. When you sell, the value tracks directly to what the metal is worth on the open market.
We publish this because hiding pricing is not something we are willing to do. When you purchase through KEPM, you pay a flat 8% over wholesale. When you sell to KEPM as a current client, you pay no commission. Compare that to dealers charging 25 to 50% markups on inflated coins, with some exceeding 200%, and fees on both ends. See kepm.com/pricing for full pricing terms.
Precious metals are typically purchased as a long-term step toward protecting savings, not as something to buy and sell frequently. Still, circumstances can change. When they do, we help facilitate the sale of your metals through our trusted partners at the current market bid price with no additional fees from KEPM. The goal is simple: make the process clear, fair, and easy.
The same amount of money produces very different outcomes depending on who you work with and what they sell you.

Straight answers about what you pay, how it compares, and why we do it this way.
Most dealers charge markups of 25 to 50% on collectible or semi-rare coins, plus additional fees when you sell. KEPM charges a standard 8% over wholesale on investment-grade bullion, and current KEPM clients pay 0% commission when they sell to KEPM. At markups above 25%, far more of each dollar goes to the dealer instead of the metal. We encourage you to get quotes from other dealers and compare them to ours. We publish our pricing because the comparison works in your favor.*
*8% above wholesale when you buy; 0% seller's commission for current KEPM clients when you sell through KEPM. Third-party custodian, storage, and shipping fees may apply. See kepm.com/pricing for full pricing terms.
KEPM deals exclusively in investment-grade bullion. Each bar and round is produced under a mint's quality-control standards and stamped with its weight and purity. Metals stored at the Texas Precious Metals Depository are held in a documented chain of custody and covered by the facility's regular independent audits. If you would like to understand how sourcing and custody work for your specific bars and rounds, your KEPM consultant will walk you through it.
